Objectives:
The aims of the Freshman Seminars are to:
- orient Year 1 Social Science students to social science as an academic discipline in the local and global context;
- orient Year 1 Social Science students to social science as the knowledge foundation to contemporary human service professions; and
- engage students in appreciating the applied nature of contemporary social sciences.
