- To identify and disseminate good practices in planning and delivering of SL subjects that achieve high impact on student learning.
- To formulate the PolyU model of service learning on our experiences and research, especially in the context of the compulsory, credit-bearing nature of service learning at PolyU.
- To benchmark our model of service learning and our service learning programme with international best practices.
- To enable evidence-based improvements to the design and delivery of SL subjects.
- To strengthen the development of academic staff in SL both in PolyU as well as beyond.
