Objectives:
- To develop a set of self instructional materials relating to business ethics
- To design a set of activities to promote awareness of ethics in the context of different businesses and industries
- To design quiz packages as a means for students to determine their understanding of ethical theories and viewpoints
- To develop a mechanism for ensuring meaningful participation in the proposed package
Remarks:
The Defining Issues Test (DIT) results showed that students:
- had improved in terms of their ability to define a social problem based on N2 scores; and
- wereless inclined to conform to Kohlberg's second stage of moral development (paired-T test)
However, it is still uncertain whether students became more inclined to follow stage 1 or 3. Further analysis of these findings will be conducted.
