Objectives:

This project aims to:

• enhance students' understanding of the discrimination, diadvantages and structured  inequalities faced by people with diverse backgrounds in their lifeworlds in Hong Kong;
• foster students' appreciation of the significance of diversity, involving ethnicity, gender, religion and disability and to encourage them to develop cross-cultural communication skills through community services; and
• reflect on how to become an active life-long learner through building close relationships with and serving the community members.
