Objectives:
- To introduce the concept and practice of learning through community service to the students.
- To acquaint students with significant issues of social needs, justice and ethics related to the information age, such as the concept of the information divide.
- To acquaint students with significant issues of social needs, and how technology may be used to meet these needs.
- To enhance students' generic competencies of innovative problem solving, communication and teamwork.
- To nurture students' sense of social awareness, responsibility and engagement.
