Objectives:
- To develop an online image and vocabulary database
- To design online and printed course materials and activities
- To develop relevant course assessments
Remarks:
- The e-learn website is aligned more closely with the online database and now contains more interactive activities for online/self-access learning.
- Evaluation and revision of relevant assessment methods by students and teachers to assess the learning outcomes of the course have been conducted. Some of the suggestions given by students have been incorporated (e.g., vocabulary is now assessed twice during the semester and is more contextualized). Online assessment procedures have been streamlined and made more user-friendly by creating one platform via which students complete various parts of the test

- An activity-based textbook on workplace English for textile students
- Online Fashion Lexicon
- Online audiovisual activities for practising telephoning skills
- Teaching aids to supplement the online fashion lexicon database
- Staff development session for the Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC) team
