International Student Ambassador Scheme (ISAS)

This scheme aims to prepare students for global citizenship.

Participants are expected to develop their global vision, intercultural skills, sense of belonging towards PolyU as well as a passion to grow individually and contribute to the community.  They will also be expected to be catalyst in promoting integration amongst local and non-local students on campus as well.

The following is available under this scheme:

  • Training for enhancing global outlook, communication skills, social effectiveness and knowledge of PolyU
  • Intercultural exposures for knowing more fellow students from other countries/ regions
  • Fund for reaching out to the world to further broaden your exposure
  • Awards for outstanding students whom act as catalysts for integrating local and non-local students

New participants will generally be recruited as Trainee Ambassadors. Those with active participation, ample overseas experience and excellent soft skills will be promoted to International Student Ambassadors or Honoured Ambassadors for even more recognition.
