Previously, we collaborated with Mr. Yuen Kai-Lun, Assistant Principal of Shun Tak Fraternal Association Yung Yau College, to explore possibilities of secondary school education by integrating social innovation and design thinking into interdisciplinary study. We also inspire teaching fellows to walk a different path in professional development, so as to nurture students to cope with the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.

At the SIRF2020 Digital Exhibition, 15 exhibitors come together to showcase their progress and achievements, from the latest smart technologies to age-friendly services that disrupt the status quo. What might better ageing look like for us all?

Transitional Social Housing Action Project Report Release
The Action Projects covered three sites with varying physical and socio-economic environment, located in Sham Shui Po, Stanley and the Ma Wan Old Village. The Report provides a comprehensive documentation of the cross-sector and trans-disciplinary co-creation process which has contributed to enriching the knowledge in the planning, designing and implementing transitional social housing projects in Hong Kong.

The Season 8 “One from Hundred Thousand” Sympoisum is themed “Silver Age Startups”. Three Startups experts and entrepreneurs will share their insights and first hand experiences on promoting senior social entrepreneurship. Furthermore, 7 teams of silver-age entrepreneurs will share their ideas at the symposium to pitch for start-up funds.

The winners of the Intergenerational Play Space Design Competition | HKHS Prosperous Garden were announced at the Award Presentation Ceremony on 14th November 2020. The winning designs showcased the outcome of a multi-disciplinary approach to reimagining public spaces as intergenerational play space with the aim of improving social cohesion and supporting ageing-in-place.
