[Digital Finance Enterprise Collaboration Project]
Research Centre for Digital Economy (RCDE), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Project Overview:
This project is an industry-academia collaborative initiative between RCDE and enterprise partners. It aims to address the technological revolution and industrial transformation in the digital economy era by building the theoretical foundation and technical roadmap for a new model of digital fintech development. The project seeks to deeply integrate the financial system with the digital economy, support the construction of a digital economy and Chinese-style modernization, reduce wealth disparities through innovative financial systems, and promote common prosperity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Literature review
- Theoretical modeling and data analysis
- Preparation of technical reports and academic papers
- Other tasks assigned by the project team
Qualifications:
- Senior undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related disciplines from a C9 university in China or a QS Top 200 university
- Solid theoretical foundation and strong mathematical skills
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and strong data analysis skills
- Familiarity with classical machine learning algorithms and some ability in algorithm design
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interdisciplinary academic background
- Proficiency in mainstream AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Familiarity with stochastic mathematics, optimal control, and pricing models
- Knowledge of cutting-edge AI fields such as large language models (LLMs) or Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs)
