Dementia is a global health concern with the growth of ageing populations. In nursing homes, elderly people with dementia are often restrained in bed or administered with sleeping pills. The purpose of such treatment is to prevent patients from wandering, which may result in them getting lost or encountering accidents.

This eNightLog monitoring system is equipped with event sequence tracking and various sensing technologies, including remote vital sign sensor and noninvasive imaging device. It can continuously monitor the patient’s sleep and night-time activities.

In case of unusual incident, the system will immediately send an alert message to the caregiver, providing immediate attention to the patients.
