80^th anniversary logo

 

In celebration of this important milestone, the University organized the PolyU 80th Anniversary Logo Design Competition earlier this year. It concluded successfully with over 700 entries. The winning design features two key elements: “80” and “PolyU”. In the coloured version, the “80” is filled with colours representing individual faculties and schools, with the amount of each colour corresponding to the size of the respective student bodies. This well symbolises our efforts in nurturing tomorrow’s leaders through a wide array of professional programmes designed to cater for the development of our society. The number “0” and the letter “U” are nicely integrated, making the logo simple, neat and smart.
