At the Global Student Innovation Challenge for Assistive Technology, a team of PolyU occupational therapy students bagged three awards with their innovative “Roller-Clother”. The awards included Gold Award (design category), Peer’s Choice Award and the Public’s Choice Award.

Inspired by the concept of ferris wheel and rollable blackboard, the team developed the “Roller-Clother” - a rollable clothing organiser with many pockets in various sizes which can be adjusted to suitable heights. It was specially designed for wheelchair users and elderly people to store and take clothes easily.

Congratulations to the winning students: Chan Ka-wai, Chan Wing-yuk, Chung Wing-yan, Leung Ka-wai and Ngan Sing-ho!
