Prof. Kaye Chon, Dean of School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM), has recently been awarded the McCool Breakthrough Award from the International Council of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (I-CHRIE). The award recognises his immense efforts in founding the Graduate Education and Graduate Student Research Conference in Hospitality Tourism.
An innovative approach to graduate education, this annual Conference provides a platform for graduate students and faculty members to exchange on cutting-edge research in the field of hospitality and tourism. This is the second time for the SHTM to receive the McCool Breakthrough Award.
