For the third consecutive year, PolyU was awarded the Certificate of Recognition for Caring Organisation under the Caring Company Scheme, in recognition of the University’s endeavours in encouraging social responsibility.
Comprising staff, students, alumni and former staff, The PolyU Volunteers team regularly runs the Buddies’ University programme, offering elderly people the opportunity to experience university life. In addition, the team organises activities for many NGOs, spreading its caring culture within and beyond the University community.
