According to the Annual Reports on Knowledge Transfer in 2015/16 submitted by the eight government-funded local universities to the University Grants Committee , PolyU recorded HK$540 million income from knowledge transfer and was ranked first on the list.

PolyU actively promotes knowledge and technology transfer. Through close collaboration with the community, business and industry, the University turns research outputs into advanced technology with practical value, boosting societal wellbeing.
