RS has taken the lead to integrate the best of Chinese therapeutics into Western rehabilitation concepts and practices. It established a Centre for East-meets-West in Rehabilitation Sciences in 1998-1999. This Conference is the 3rd Pan Pacific series held at our initiative since 1998. Several world-class scientists will be the speakers.

康復治療科學系為融會中國治療術和西方康復概念與實踐的先鋒，於1998/1999期間，成立中西康復科學薈萃中心，並於1998年創辦泛太平洋康復會議。 第三屆會議將在今年八月假香港理工大學舉行，數位蜚聲國際的科學家應邀前來講學。
