PolyU wins the bid to host AsiaLex 2015

 

 

 

 

At the 7th Biennial Conference of The Asian Association of Lexicography (AsiaLex 2011) in Kyoto, Japan, PolyU won the bid to host AsiaLex 2015. Prof. Huang Chu-Ren, Dean of PolyU’s Faculty of Humanities, was also elected as the Vice President of AsiaLex and Dr Li Lan, Associate Professor of the Department of English, will continue her duty on the Executive Committee of AsiaLex.

The Asian Association of Lexicography was founded in Hong Kong in 1997. It will be exciting to see its 9th biennial conference return to its birth place.
