Five PolyU students awarded Innovation and Technology Scholarships

Dr Pauline Sung Chan Po-lin (second from left in picture), Associate Professor of PolyU’s Department of Applied Social Sciences (APSS), has recently been awarded the fellowship under the RGC-Fulbright Hong Kong Senior Scholar Programme for 2011/12. The programme is launched by the Research Grants Council in collaboration with the U.S. Consulate General in Hong Kong.

Dr Sung will spend eight months at Washington University in the U.S. starting September 2011 to work on a research project about building a prevention model for adolescent obesity.
