All students are admitted to the BSc (Hons) Scheme in Computing & AI. In the first year, they take a common set of subjects to lay a foundation for university study and gain a taste of the Scheme. In the second year, they can select the individual awards and study the corresponding content. All these awards feature a Minor option and an individual or a group integrative capstone project in the final year.
BSc (Hons) in Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence
- Year One: fundamental knowledge, laying the foundation for university study and gaining a taste of the Scheme.
- Year Two: broadening computing skills, basic economics, accounting and finance concepts.
- Year Three: a strengthening year with core subjects like software engineering, systems security as well as computing/finance electives.
- Final Year: specialisation in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning & pattern recognition, crowdfunding & e-finance, e-payment & cryptocurrency.
