Dr Yong received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2022 and received his MSc. degree and B.Sc degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 2016 and 2013, respectively. Dr. Yong is currently a research assistant professor in the Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). His research interests focus on the research areas of computer version, deep learning, and machine learning.  He has published a lot of research works in top journals and conferences including TPAMI, TIP, TNNLS, CVPR, ECCV, NeruIPS, etc. He is also a reviewer of some prestigious journals and conferences in his research areas, such as TPAMI, TIP, CVPR, AAAI, ICLR, NeruIPS, etc.
