Academic Staff

Dr Yang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He completed his D.Phil/Ph.D degree (2016.10-2020.09) in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford. He obtained an M.Phil degree from The University of Hong Kong and a B.Eng degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Dr Yang is generally interested in machine learning, computer vision, and robotics. His research goal is to build intelligent systems that endow machines to recover, understand, and eventually interact with the real 3D world.
