INTRODUCTION

The PolyU-NAMI Research Centre for 3D Robotic Concrete Printing (RCC3D) is a pioneering research centre in Hong Kong, dedicated to advancing the field of 3D concrete printing. Our primary objective is to conduct cutting-edge research that leads to the development of new materials, techniques, and equipment for 3D concrete printing.

We collaborate with government departments and industry partners to showcase these technological advancements through a wide range of real-life applications and solutions in Hong Kong, thereby facilitating knowledge transfer. Additionally, we collaborate with leading international industrial partners, such as CyBe and CONCR3DE from the Netherlands, to promote these technologies to Hong Kong's construction industry through professional training and public events. We also focus on nurturing young talent and entrepreneurship in the field of 3D concrete printing in the Greater Bay Area.

By leveraging our expertise and partnerships, we are committed to making significant contributions to the advancement of 3D concrete printing technology and its applications.

VISION

Establish PolyU as the forefront academic institution in Hong Kong for research and application of 3D concrete printing.

MISSION

The objectives of the proposed Research Centre are to carry out research activities on 3D concrete printing covering the following aspects:

1. Lead, integrate, and applied multidisciplinary research to develop the cutting edge of knowledge in 3D concrete printing
