CEE-led project awarded the largest grant in the latest Ten Thousand People's Scheme with Wuhan University, Mainland China
The joint-university project, submitted by Prof. Hai Guo in CEE and Prof. Weihao Zhang in Wuhan University, “Causes and Regional Transport of Air Pollution Complex in Wuhan City Clusters, Mainland China (1 Jan-31 Dec 2019)”, has been awarded in the latest Ten Thousand People’s Scheme in Mainland China and Hong Kong. The funding ranks the first among all the exchange programs in Wuhan University in this year.
CEE in PolyU and the School of Resources and Environmental Sciences of Wuhan University have been holding academic activities since the 1990s. Prof. Hai Guo in CEE has established a long-term friendly cooperative relationship with Wuhan University in recent years. This is the third time for the two departments to be awarded in this scheme since 2014. This exchange program will have high participation of academic staffs and students from both universities, and get more considerable achievements in academic and cultural exchanges between Mainland China and Hong Kong in the future.
