Ten teams, each with four members per team, were given two hours to fabricate a paper structure. The paper structures were judged against maximum loading, lightness, and aesthetic and innovation. The competition provided an opportunity for youth to develop their analytical and communication skills and to acquire structural engineering knowledge through building and testing a paper structure.

We were surprised by the participants’ creativity and were delighted to see them putting in a lot of effort in design and fabrication. To close the event, Prof. C.S. Poon, Associate Head of CEE, congratulated the participants on their outstanding performance and presented prizes to the winners.
