Welcome to the 3rd International Workshop on Intelligent Tropical-Storm-Resilient Systems for Coastal Cities. We sincerely appreciate your participation and are delighted to have you join us for this important event.
INTACT 2026 serves as a leading platform for addressing the increasing challenges posed by tropical storm hazards and advancing climate-resilient solutions for coastal cities. The workshop brings together researchers, academics and industry professionals to exchange knowledge, share innovative ideas, and explore collaborative approaches to enhance the resilience of urban environments against extreme weather events.
We have prepared an engaging one-day programme featuring keynote and invited presentations, as well as research contributions from emerging scholars and young researchers. The workshop will highlight multidisciplinary research themes, including urban aerodynamics, climate modelling, wind engineering, structural engineering, and full-scale monitoring. Through these sessions, we hope to foster meaningful discussions, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and inspire new directions in tropical-storm-resilient urban development.
