PolyU P404 Server Visit & Weather Platform Planning

At 16:00 on 4 September 2025, Dr. Guang-Hao Zhai, Dr. Lei Yuan, Mr. Wei-Jia Zhang, and Mr. Huan Yue jointly visited the NVIDIA servers installed in CNERC-Rail’s equipment room P404. Mr. Yue provided a detailed introduction to the server specifications and the multi-source meteorological data stored within, explaining the model training methodology. The group also discussed the next-phase work plan for the Hong Kong Meteorological Prediction Platform with members of Prof. Li Qing’s team.
