The application of one of EY’s signature events, Young Tax Professional of the Year 2018 (YTPY), is now OPEN. 

YTPY is an international competition for students who are interested in tax. Winners will have a chance to represent Hong Kong to the national competition in Guangzhou and to the international final in Europe in 2018. Their professionals will provide guidance throughout the journey.

Apart from the prizes to the first 3 winners, contestants who are qualified for the final competition will be awarded direct entries to the online test for tax internship / graduate program. For more details, please visit website.

The HKIB 55th Anniversary Logo Design Competition (Deadline: 6pm, 21 Nov)

Introduction
Established in 1963, The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) serves the local banking community in the provision of education and professional training. HKIB will proudly celebrate its 55th anniversary in 2018. 

In celebration of this important milestone, we would like to invite our members and tertiary students to provide a creative design for our 55th anniversary logo.



Eligibility

-   The Competition is open to HKIB Individual Members and Corporate Members’ staff members, as well as full-time
    tertiary students.
-   HKIB has the final decision on the eligibility of participants.



Submission Requirements

-   Each applicant is only allowed to submit one entry.
-   The attachment(s) should not exceed 10MB in total.
-   Each submission must include the following items:
  a. Soft copy of the full color logo in jpg and ai format;
  b. Soft copy of the black and white logo in jpg and ai format; and
  c. A signed application form in soft copy, which contains an assignment of intellectual property rights agreement.
-   Each entry must include a brief description (no more than 300 words in English) illustrating the design concept.


Judging Panel

The judging panel will comprise HKIB Executive Committee members and the Secretariat.


Intellectual Property Rights

-   Entries must be original and free from infringing on the rights of third parties.
-   Participants must be the sole owners of the intellectual property rights of the design.
-   Entries must not have been used for other purposes or by third parties.
-   By joining the Competition, participants agree to assign the intellectual property rights to HKIB.
-   The organiser retains the right to amend and revise the winning logo design.
-   The organiser is entitled to implement the design, ideas and concepts of the winning entry for events pertaining to
    the 55th anniversary or any other future projects of HKIB.

Grand Award (1 winner):

-   13-inch Macbook Pro – HKD9,988


Runners-up (2 winners):

-   Eslite Gift Coupon (HKD500)

A one-year HKIB Individual Membership (2018) will be granted to all three winners who have yet to enrol for their HKIB Membership.


Results Announcement
The winners will be invited to join the HKIB New Members Welcoming Cocktail for recognition on 18 December 2017.
