naming ceremony of the Suen Chi-sun Memorial Square is held
in recognition of the generous donation of $7 million from the
late Mr Suen Chi-sun, a distinguished graduate of the then Hong
Kong Technical College. The donation is so far the largest donation
that the University has received from the family of an alumnus.
