Characteristics Programme Structure and Contents

Structure
You can select from a wide range of subjects offered under various Postgraduate Schemes. In general, each subject requires attendance of one evening a week for a 14-week semester.

For MSc
You need to complete 4 Core Subjects (including the compulsory subject: Mathematical Modelling for Science & Technology), 4 other subjects (Core or Electives) and a Dissertation (or 3 additional Core Subjects).
Dissertation is optional. However, you are encouraged to select a topic relevant to your professional and personal interest.

For PgD
You need to complete 4 Core Subjects and 3 other subjects (Core or Electives).
