Work-Integrated Education (WIE) is mandatory for all full-time undergraduates at PolyU. By offering placements in your organisation/ company, you provide our students with an opportunity to acquire practical training and work experience in a real-life situation.

I am grateful for the nurturing by my alma mater, and the internship opportunity arranged by it and its alumni, which opened the door for me to the marketing and advertising industry. I have always supported the Work-Integrated Education internship programme, hoping to help students get inspired in dealing with others and making career choices. Knowing that students benefit from it is my biggest encouragement.

Managing Director, N-Dynamic Market Research & Consultancy Ltd

As an alumnus, I feel that I should provide opportunities for students to gain actual practice, and hopefully in the process they can understand and think about Hong Kong’s advantage as an international city and the Internet-related advantage in Hangzhou. It is comforting that for the past six years, the internship programme has been very well received. It provides an opportunity for us and the students to learn from each other. I have witnessed their engagement and enthusiasm, their willingness to learn and positive work attitude. I hope that they can actualise their potentials, appreciate others’ abilities, and create a bright future for themselves.

Studying at PolyU is a very important stage in my life. It laid a solid basis for my endeavour to create my own business. I have also adhered to the University’s motto of “To learn and to apply, for the benefit of mankind”, providing Work-Integrated Education internship opportunity in fulfillment of my wish to give back to my alma mater. Hopefully it is also a platform conducive to students’ continuous growth.

As graduate of PolyU’s first master programme in International Real Estate Management, I started to support the University’s Work-Integrated Education programme upon graduation by receiving student interns to our company every year. We saw among the students their enthusiasm, humility, creativity and dedication to work. We are also greatly impressed by our alma mater’s serious attitude towards advancing knowledge for the benefit of mankind. As an alumnus company, we are willing to provide more opportunities for students, so as to strengthen collaboration with the University and students’ understanding of the history, culture, growth and fast changes of China.
