Generous contributions have provided our students and fellow alumni with extraordinary experiences, enabling them to fulfil their aspirations.

The mentorship programme was highly beneficial in various ways. I gained opportunities to interact with experienced professionals and build a friendly relationship with my mentor, Dr Edith Mok, who gave me invaluable advice on the paths I could choose based on my aspirations. I am grateful to have made a lifelong friend who is very supportive, and I tell my classmates that this is not just a programme but a bridge to building long-term relationships between mentors and other mentees.

N-Dynamic is a market research consultancy company. The internship let me understand the operations of commercial organisations and the fun of marketing research. It is very inspiring and of much help to my career choices. I particularly admire its CEO, who is a PolyU graduate. Besides working hard, she was very professional and very friendly with clients and colleagues. She also showed respect for and understanding of different cultures. I hope I will be an outstanding leader like her in the future.

When I was working in Hangzhou, I got in touch with many new things, such as people’s payment method. This would affect my career planning in the mainland upon graduation. During the meaningful internship, I used financial data to analyse customer behaviour and provide suitable services for special clients. As a business student, it is important for me to understand global business trends. That is the reason I applied for internship in this IT company (WISU).
