Dr the Hon. Johnny Ng Kit-chong is a successful tech entrepreneur who was ranked among the Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Young Digi Persons, Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year, and Hong Kong’s Top Ten Outstanding Cantonese Youth. Just three years after he first graduated, he founded Goldford Group that provides seed angel funding to early stage start-ups in the fintech, internet and education sectors, and the creative industries in Greater China. In addition, Dr Ng has an impressive track record in research into machine learning: when he was Chairman and Chief Executive of Titanium Technology Group, he not only oversaw its listing in the United States, but also spearheaded R&D initiatives that consolidated the group’s leading position in the biometric facial-recognition market.
