Biography

Professor Tracie Frost is a professor in accounting at the School of Accounting and Finance.  Prior to pursuing her doctorate in accounting, Professor Frost worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP for seven years as a practitioner of insurance taxation in PwC’s Washington National Tax Practice.  She also has governmental and private firm accounting experience.  She has been a visiting professor at MAII Stratford University in New Delhi, India, and at Florida Atlantic University. She is a certified public accountant in the United States of America.

Professor Frost has research interests in Accounting Information Systems, Audit, and Strategy.  She has published in the Journal of Information Systems and the Asia-Pacific Journal of Financial Studies, and is well-published in the practitioner space.  She has authored more than 100 articles and six books on U.S. insurance taxation and has published several articles on developments in Indian taxation.

Professor Frost’s teaching interests include Accounting Information Systems, Financial Accounting, and Tax.
