LunaNav: Lunar Robotic Exploration

A completed RCUAS-funded project exploring how multi-sensor positioning can support lunar robotic navigation.

Funded project completed

LunaNav explored the application of IPNL’s multi-sensor positioning research to lunar robotic navigation, connecting sensor fusion and estimation with positioning in GNSS-denied environments.

Funded project. Li-Ta Hsu served as PI of the RCUAS-supported project, which began in June 2025 with scheduled completion in July 2026. The university project record lists it as completed, as of October 2026. This status refers to the funded project, rather than the broader lunar-navigation research topic.
