Medical Check Up

In connection with our Health Surveillance and Anticipating Care Program, University Health Service has facilities to make available different medical check-up packages for students, eligible staff and their dependents at a nominal cost. All the tests are handled within campus by our professional staff in one stop shop manner including a physical examination. Based on the results, our doctors will give comments on your current health status, provide counseling and appropriate treatment if needed.

• Visual Acuity, Hearing Test (Audiometry)
• Electrocardiogram (resting)
• Intraocular Pressure (Tonometry)

Laboratory:

• Complete Blood Count
• Blood Grouping & Rhesus Factor
• Liver Function Test (Bilirubin, Total Protein, Alkaline Phosphatase, ALT)
• Kidney Function Test (Blood Urea, Creatinine)
• Diabetic screening (Oral Glucose Tolerance Test)
• Tumour Markers for screening of Cancers [Liver, Naso-pharyngeal and Prostate gland (male) tumours]
• Hepatitis B screening (HBsAg, HBsAb)
• Gout screening (Uric Acid)
• Lipid Profile (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, VLDL, Triglycerides)
