Jack Chun obtained his B.A. degree in Philosophy
and English Literature at the University of Hong Kong.
He then studied as Commonwealth Scholar at the University
of Toronto, where he obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. He
was Honorary Assistant Professor and Post-Doctoral
Fellow at the University of Hong Kong. In 1998, he
joined the General Education Centre of the Hong Kong
Polytechnic University. His research interests broadly
cover issues in metaphysics, epistemology and the
modern history of philosophy, though his heart is
still captivated by the work of a German philosopher,
Kant, and a Chinese philosopher, Mou Tsung-san.
