Opinion surveys have shown that our graduates are perceived as being of the highest practical value to employers. Over the past decades, PolyU has nurtured nearly 260,000 graduates who have found their place in various sectors, dedicating their knowledge and expertise to the development of society. Our academic achievements and areas of excellence are highly regarded in their respective fields.

To meet the challenges of the highly globalised, knowledge-driven 21st century, we are committed to promoting the all-round development of our students. We strive to cultivate in them a global outlook on life and a strong sense of responsibility as global citizens. This is achieved through initiatives such as the Student Exchange Programme and the "Preferred Graduate" Development Programme.
The Student Exchange Programme provides a precious opportunity for students to experience and appreciate other cultures. We currently exchange students with
over 200 renowned universities around the world and this number continues to grow.
In collaboration with 1,100 companies and organizations under the "Preferred Graduate" Development Programme, we arrange summer placements every year for students to work in Hong Kong,
the Chinese Mainland as well as overseas.
We are therefore confident that when our students graduate, they will be effective communicators who possess excellent skills in entrepreneurship and leadership, and the ability to think both critically and creatively.
