Emergency and Community Resources


In case of emergency when there is imminent risk to the safety of the student or the others, please call the 24-hour emergency campus security service at (852) 2766 7999, or the police at 999 for immediate assistance. During emergency, it is important to stay calm and seek help from others nearby.

During Office Hours

If you are experiencing an emotion crisis and need an urgent appointment with our counsellor, please don’t hesitate to come to our office counter at QT308 and indicate that you are having a crisis. Our intake counsellor will attend to you as soon as possible.

After Office Hours

You can get help from the following options:

1. PolyU-LINE: Non-Office Hour Student Counselling Hotline Service

It opens during non-office hours as below:

-          Mondays to Fridays: 7pm-9am

-          Saturdays: 12pm-9am

-          Sundays/Public Holidays: 24 hours round the clock

All phone calls will be answered by Caritas Family Crisis Support Centre and follow-up by OCW counsellors.
