Funding Support for Student Activities

Fund schemes administered to support both student activities that take place locally or abroad are available throughout the year.  Student bodies and student groups may submit activity proposals to seek funding in the form of subsidies.

Student Activity Fund

PolyU funding in the form of Student Activity Fund is available for subsidizing activities of the Students' Union and its sub-organizations as well as student bodies recognized by the Office of Student Development.  Eligible applicants should submit application to the respective collection box at Centre STARS.  Student bodies registered under the Students’ Union are encouraged to obtain the endorsement from the Finance Committee of the Union Council.  Student bodies’ application attached with the memorandum issued by the Finance Committee will have higher priority in getting PolyU funding.

The Fund will be in the form of subsidies which will normally cover only part of the expenses incurred by an activity and will be paid to the student body concerned in the form of reimbursement after submission of the activity report and a financial statement.  Application forms are obtainable from the reception of Centre STARS (Room QT308).
