Themed “Vision for the Next Generation”, the conference attracted more than 400 participants from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and other parts of Asia, Europe and North America. Dr. Lily Chiu, BBS, Consultant (Centres of Excellence) at the Strategy & Planning Division of the Hospital Authority, was invited to give the opening remarks. Six renowned speakers from different disciplines shared their insights with the audience: Prof. Lea Hyvärinen (Finland); Prof. Cecilia Li-tsang (Hong Kong); Prof. Peter Wong (Canada); Prof. To Chi-ho (Hong Kong); Prof. Carly Lam (Hong Kong); and Dr. Björn Drobe  (Singapore).
