Close liaison, substantial support
and regular advice to the Students' Union, the
Postgraduate Association, and other student bodies
within the campus are maintained at all times, with
the objectives of encouraging more meaningful endeavours
and effective utilization of their time and resources.
A number of meetings and functions,
formal and informal, are arranged every year for
the President and other senior staff members to exchange
views with the student leaders on issues related
to the University community, and to familiarize the
student leaders with various aspects of the Institution.
