Subject to the availability of stock, application forms for 2011/12 are obtainable at the offices listed below:

2011/12 Application Period

Deadline for applications :

(1)   4 weeks after the payment due date of the first loan instalment covered in application; or

(2)   29 July 2012 (2011/12 Academic year), whichever is the later.

Reminder

(1)

Application should be submitted to the government’s Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA) at 11/F, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road;

(Mon - Fri 8:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.; except Public Holidays)

you may apply for NLS loan even if you have already paid your tuition fees provided that the course under the application has not been completed at the time of application and your application meets the deadline;

(3)

you should ensure the payment amount and schedule when you fill in the application form;(Useful notices posted on webpage of PolyU’s Finance Office:  http://www.polyu.edu.hk/fo/FO_Web/index.php?page=5)

(4)

neither your application nor the approval for an NLS loan carries any implications that the payment due date of your tuition fee has been or will be deferred by PolyU. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are able to settle your tuition fee on or before the due date. Please therefore note the time required for the different payment methods of the loan as specified in the “Guidance Notes”; and
