WHAT’S IT?

International Community Ambassadors (formerly known as Reception Team) is a group of voluntary helpers who arrange wide varieties of activities/events for exchange, international and mainland students, and activities for integrating local and non-local students.

OBJECTIVES

  • to arrange activities to help exchange, international and mainland students adapt to and integrate into PolyU life and local culture
  • to facilitate integration of local and non-local students

BENEFITS

  • to polish your organizing, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • to have a chance to nurture your teamwork
  • to know more friends from other countries/cities
  • to enhance your global outlook

RECOGNITION*

  • Co-curricular Achievement Transcript (CAT)
  • Certificate
  • Bonus points for exchanging out to the mainland or foreign institutions

* Subject to satisfactory performance

ELIGIBILITY

  • Full-time bachelor degree and higher-diploma students who are not in final year are preferred
  • Out-going
  • Willing to interact with people
  • Commitment required
