Buddy Programme
The Buddy Programme is a match-a-friend scheme. Local students will be recruited to be buddies and introduced to be friends of exchange students. Exchange students do not need to apply for this scheme. Student Affairs Office will try to match a buddy to exchange students.
Objectives
- to facilitate the adaptation of exchange students
- nurture friendship among local and non-local students
- promote cultural exchange
- enhance local students' language proficiency, especially English and Putonghua
