1. Would I be affected by the new locker allocation scheme launched in academic year 2011/12?
Existing locker users (lockers allocated in 2010 or before) will not be affected by the new scheme.
2. How to check my locker number?
You may check it out at the locker system at http://www.polyu.edu.hk/sao/locker or enquire at the counter of the Amenities Centre.
3. How come my payment status in the locker system is not updated after my settlement?
The settlement process may take several working days.
4.Can I change my locker location?
No re-allocation/change of locker would be entertained unless under special circumstances / with special reason(s).
5. When should I return my locker?
The deadline of 15th June for locker clearance is the same for all. For lockers allocated in 2010 or before, graduates have to vacate and unlock their lockers on or before 15th June.
For lockers allocated after 2011, all locker users have to vacate and unlock their lockers on or before 15th June every year.
6. I have registered for summer term subjects, can I extend my locker in summer?
Locker users have to vacate and unlock their lockers on / before the deadline. Another locker would be allocated to students who have registered for summer term subjects, and/or having special needs. Please refer to Special arrangement in summer for details.
7. Can I return my locker later?

8. What can I do if my locker is damaged?
Please seek help at the counter of the Amenities Centre.
9. Why combination lock is not recommended?
Thefts are more commonly found in lockers locked by combination locks.
10. What should I do if my locker is bound with a plastic tag?
First, you should re-confirm your locker number. If you find the locker number is correct, you can use the locker by cutting the plastic tag.
11. What should I do if my locker is locked by others?
First, you should re-confirm your locker number. If you find the locker number is correct, you have to seek help at the counter of the Amenities Centre in person.
12. How to settle the locker maintenance fee via ATM?
Please follow the following steps:
Insert your card into the ATM
Enter customer Personal Identification Number (“PIN”)
Choose "Bill Payment"
Choose "Education"
Choose "The Hong Kong Polytechnic University"
Enter "01" for "Bill Type" and then press "Enter"
Enter the locker fee debit note number at the top of the “email confirmation” for "Bill Account Number" and HK$30 for "Payment Amount".
Select “Debit Account”
Take payment advice with payment details printed for future reference.
Transaction completed.
Remember to keep the payment slip after the completion of payment.
13. How to settle the payment via PPS?
Please follow the following steps:
Registered PPS users may call 18031 (in English) or 18033 (in Cantonese) through a tone phone or visit PPS website at www.ppshk.com for payment. (PPS merchants no. of HKPU: 77)
Payment successfully made will be confirmed by the advice of a payment reference number for your record. No receipt will be issued by SAO.
