Staff Strength The University has a strong team of academic staff with solid experience in supervising research postgraduate students. In 2008/09, there are 754 Assistant Professors and above. Among them, 179 are Chair Professors or Professors. In addition, many of our Chair Professors/Professors are internationally leading experts in their research areas.
Our research efforts culminated in the production of 1,905 refereed journal papers, 1,494 conference papers and 1,182 other publications. The annual rate of increase in the number of refereed journal papers published has averaged 2.02 per cent over the last five years.
