Application Fee and Payment Method
 
Application Fee
A non-refundable fee of HK$150 will be charged for each application.
 
Payment Methods
 
  1. By PPS (Payment by Phone Service) *
  2. By e-banking (Hang Seng Bank / HSBC) *
  3. By ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) *
  4. By Online Credit Card Payment
  5. Bank draft
  6. Payment in Chinese Mainland (内地银行入账)
   
  *   Please pay the fee using the debit note number, which is generated upon the submission of your application, and settle the fee immediately after submitting your on-line application.
   
  Method 1: By PPS (Payment by Phone Service) PolyU merchant code: 77
 
  • Call 18011 (English)/18013 (Cantonese) or visit PPS website to register your bill.
  • Call 18031 (English)/18033 (Cantonese) or visit PPS website to pay your bill.
  • Enter "77" as the "merchant code 商戶".
  • Enter the 8-digit debit note number as the "debit note number 繳費單編號".
  • Enter $150.
  • Keep the reference number.
  • Please check your payment status via our Web Application System. Please note that your payment status will be updated to "Settled" when your payment has been confirmed by PolyU.  It normally takes 2 working days to allow proper transfer of payment records to the University.
   
  Method 2: By e-banking (Hang Seng Bank / HSBC)
 
  • Logon to Hang Seng Bank or HSBC e-banking website.
  • Select "Banking 銀行服務".
  • Select "View & Pay Bill 查閱及繳付賬單".
  • Select "Pay Bill & Add Payee 繳費及加入商戶".
  • Select "Education Institutions 教育學府" as the "category 類別".
  • Select "THE HK POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY".
  • Select "Fees and Charges" as the "Bill Type 賬單類別".
  • Enter the 8-digit debit note number as the "Bill (Payee) Account Number 賬單戶口號碼".
  • Enter $150.
  • Select "Pay Now 即時付款" or "Today 今天" as the payment date.
  • Keep the reference number.
  • Please check your payment status via our Wed Application System. Please note that your payment status will be updated to "Settled" when your payment has been confirmed by PolyU.  It normally takes 2 working days to allow proper transfer of payment records to the University.
   
  Method 3: By ATM (Automatic Teller Machine)
 
  • Select "Bill Payment 繳款"
  • Select "Education 專上學院"
  • Select "HK Polytechnic University 香港理工大學"
  • Enter "01" as the bill type 賬類
  • Enter the 8-digit debit note number as the bill/account number.
  • Enter $150.
  • Keep the receipt.
  • Please check your payment status via our Web Application System. Please note that your payment status will be updated to "Settled" when your payment has been confirmed by PolyU.  It normally takes 2 working days to allow proper transfer of payment records to the University.
   
  Method 4: Online Credit Card Payment
  The Online Credit Card Payment method accepts all VISA, Master and CUP (China UnionPay) cards issued by whatever banks.  However, credit cards like Diners Club and American Express are not accepted.  Please follow the procedure below to settle the application fee:
  • Logon to Web Application System
  • Open your application record
  • Select "Pay Now" on the tab-page "Method of Payment"
  • Input all required information (Name of payer, Name of card holder and Email address) and click the button "Proceed to pay by Visa/Master/CUP Card"
  • On the JETCO payment gateway webpage, enter the required information and click the "Proceed" button.
  • You will see a Payment successful webpage and receive a payment acknowledgement email.
   
  Method 5: Bank draft
 
  • If you are not staying in Hong Kong at the time of application, please send us a bank draft in the sum of HK$150 on or before 9 December 2011. It should be payable to "The Hong Kong Polytechnic University".  On the back of the bank draft, please write down your name in block letters and your application number and send it to the Research Office, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
   
  Method 6: Payment in Chinese Mainland (内地银行入账) (if you are in Chinese Mainland)
 
  • 请将报名费人民币150元,存入以下银行户口:
    银行名称: 招商银行深圳高新园支行
    账户号码: 81-198-048-651-0001
    账户名称: 香港理工大学深圳研究院
  • 网上银行入账恕不接受。
  • 请复印银行入账单据以作记录,并在银行入账单据正本上写上申请人的姓名(汉语拼音)及申请编号(:A1101234递交申请后获取)于二零一一年十二月九日前寄回香港理工大学研究事务处收
    本校收到银行入账单据正本后,会在七个工作天内更新你的缴费状况为 “Settled”。请登入此网上入学系统查看最新缴费状况。
