Wok stabilizer |
 |
For users who has poor hand control, the pan-wok stand that comes with a stove
may not give enough stability for a wok when used with a metal spatula. The
result is that the wok may shift out of the support. REC has modified a gas
stove pan/wok support to give added stability when a wok is used. This
modification also prevents a fry-pan or pot from sliding out of the support.

The ring can be positioned along the length of the vertical tube of a
detachable stand. The stand can be dissembled and assembled easily for

Long armed, detachable toilet paper holder (bottom wiper) |
|
|
For people with functioning but very short arms, self-care is difficult after
using the toilet. Commercial long-armed toilet paper holders are found to be
unsuitable either because they are difficult to use or because they fail to
hold the paper during use. In
addition, because of the length, they are awkward to carry from the home to
the work-place.
This long-armed toilet paper holder grips the paper tightly. It has a point that helps cleaning. It can
be taken apart for ease of carrying in a purse.

Waterproof timer/reminder |
|
|
Up to 10 events can be programmed from 1 to 10 minutes each in duration.
Each event is associated with a picture
drawn on the white plastic plate and identified with a blinking red
indicator. Start of each event is
signified with a tone. The device is
water-resistant so that the timer can be used in a bathroom environment.
One possible application is a sequence
follower which indicates the steps and how long each step should take to take
a shower.
