Designed for single or dual switch users, it has a ten
position scanning console. It accepts
either a single switch with a 3.5 mm plug or a dual-switch with a 5 pin DIN
plug (TASH compatible). For
convenience, two push-buttons (i.e. switches) are also provided on the
console.
For remote operation, two ultrasonic wireless transmitters are available: one for single switch users and the other for dual switch users. The transmitters will accept external ability switch(es). Up to 3 appliances can be controlled. Three 13A sockets are provided at the back of the console for user convenience. It must be noted that the current carrying capacity of each of these sockets cannot exceed 2A. In addition, there are 7 special positions:-
An accessory package which includes an REC Intercom, Dual Tone Alarm and power source for the intercom, alarm as well as for a 12 volt electric door lock is available. |

A speaker-phone with numeric display, pulse/tone dialing
and memory comes with this package. This interface enables either a single- or dual-switch user to
operate the speaker-phone.

This trainable interface enables a single-switch or
dual-switch user to operate domestic audio/visual appliances that are
equipped with an infra-red remote control. It can control up to six devices (from the same or different
manufacturer) with up to fifteen functions each. It can be used independently with a DC power adapter or in conjunction with the REC Environmental Control System. For stand-alone operation, a wireless ultra-sonic transmitter-receiver pair is available. |
