REC 2x5 personal
scanning communication board
|

This battery operated communication board is controlled with a single
switch. Column scanning is provided
with adjustable scanning speed. In column
scanning, the lights advance one column at a time. The first switch activation selects the current column and
changes the scanning to one light at a time within the column.
A second switch activation then stops the
light at the desired position. Column
scanning resumes when the switch is activated a third time. |

back-lighted, scanning communication board

Each position of this communication board is about 8cm square and, when selected, is back-lit over its entire surface by a
light which can either be continuous or intermittent (flashing).
Scanning can be either manual or
automatic. Scanning speed is
adjustable and auto-power-off is standard.
It accepts an ability switch with a 3.5mm miniature plug.
A DC adapter is included.
A transparent sheet with 9 symbols can be
hooked onto the front panel. With its
large size and back lighting, it is useful for the disabled with poor vision
or for the mentally impaired |
Comtalk 1 |

Comtalk 1 is a handheld talking communication board.
A total of 8 pre-recorded messages up to
40 seconds of total recording time can be stored for communication. To activate the voice message, simply
press the associated button embedded on the surface of the device.
This system has an auto power off feature
to save energy. A 9V DC battery is required. |
Comtalk 2

Comtalk 2 is a scanning talking communication board. Comtalk 2 allows you to record, store and
play back 8 personalized recorded messages with up to 40 seconds of total
recording time. Activation can be
either by single switch via the scanning mode or by directly pressing the low
profile switch embedded on the panel.
Scanning is provided in an automatic item scan mode. Scanning speed is adjustable and
auto-power-off is standard. User can
request for switch controlled power on/off and a remote call bell can be
incorporated. A 9V DC battery is
required.

Comtalk 3

Comtalk 3 is a scanning talking communication board. Comtalk 3 allows you to record, store and play
back 32 personalized recorded messages with up to 240 seconds of total
recording time. Activation can be
either by single switch via the scanning mode or by directly pressing the low profile
switch embedded on the panel.
Automatic scanning can be in one of the three modes provided including
item scan, column scan and row scan.
Scanning speed is adjustable.
A 9V DC battery is required.

The REC-S1 software communication board is designed with the following
features: Pre-stored text in both Chinese and English with Chinese
Windows

Each pre-stored text can be associated with a
pre-recorded message in any language

Each stored text/message can be retrieved by either one
or two of 26 user programmable icons

Selected modes including direct selection by mouse or
item-by-item scanning using the left switch of a mouse

Abbreviation expansion or Abbreviation expansion plus
Abbreviation prediction available to facilitate selection of pre-stored
text/message combinations
